HISTORY

In 1974 Tommaso Candria opens in Mogliano Marche an handicraft factory specialised in weaving. The activity is located in the territory where’s deep-rooted the wickerwork tradition that enables to produce various goods, from baskets to furniture.

To face the market in continuous evolution, since 1990 the production is enlarged to the bags and small leather goods sector. A combination of ability and creativity allows to make unique items, which are recognizable by care of details and originality in design.

Though it preserves its original handicraft character and family dimension, the firm is in a progressive expansion thanks to an extended range of articles.

Candria Tommaso offers a wide range of products with one common denominator, the skilful workmanship in every working phase. Our craftsmen weave the bags entirely on wooden shapes with dexterity and zen like patience. Furthermore, we make handles using bamboo roots and stems.

Scrupulous attention to details and natural materials, such as wicker and widgeongrass, give life to articles that expire love for nice and authentic things.

Country seems to have inspired the widgeongrass line. Nature comes alive with handbags where natural cord mixes with calf in harmonious shapes.

Leather line focuses on pure elegance and sobriety. Proposals go in many directions with beautiful, timelessly handbags whose

shapes have been designed to guarantee practicality and good looks. Bamboo handles and fine accessories give a touch of exclusiveness.

Wicker is the top-of-the-range line dedicated to an ageless woman. It features structured bags and cloutchs with plenty of animal print and calf in matt colors.
